ABA disaster recommendations
WASHINGTON, DC – The American Bankers Association (ABA) has submitted to US regulatory agencies and relevant government departments, disaster response recommendations based on lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina.
The ABA Joint Preparedness Task Force issued the recommendations to ensure speedy recovery from future disasters, urging the authorities to foster the development of regional coalitions to help financial institutions serve their communities; and leverage the alliance between state bankers associations and the ABA.
