SunGard to offer UBS algorithmic trading

Software provider SunGard will offer its customers access to Swiss delaer UBS' algorithmic trading product from today.

Users of Sungard's Decalog portfolio and trading management software will be able to use UBS Direct Strategy Access (DSA), a suite of algorithmic trading programs, to execute equity trades. It will be made available through the Decalog 5.0 Trading Blotter.

Decalog vice-president Eyal Yaron said: "Through this agreement, our customers will have access to some of the most advanced trading tools available."

UBS said DSA would allow Decalog users to predict trading trends by using historical tick data, real time analysis and quantitative models.
