Nykredit retail banking risk-weight hits nine-year high
Retail banking risk-weight jumps to 46%, second only to commercial
The risk-weight of Nykredit’s retail banking loan book rose to its highest level since end-2016 in the fourth quarter of 2025, jumping 4.5 percentage points to 45.8%. The increase marked a sharp deviation from the relative stability seen over the previous year, during which the ratio fluctuated by less than 40 basis points.
