Fatca timeline in question with new Swiss-US deal

A new arrangement between the Swiss and US governments for Fatca compliance brings Fatca timelines into question, expert warns

A new intergovernmental agreement between the US and Switzerland regarding the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (Fatca) may affect the implementation deadline for Fatca, one expert has warned. Details released yesterday of an agreement between the two jurisdictions outline a new framework for Fatca compliance.

The framework, referred to as Model II by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
