UBS 'rogue trading' prompts call for new regulation


The recent rogue-trading event at Swiss bank UBS has led one industry expert to call for a specific rogue-trading regulation.

"Regulators will need to start thinking of regulation around rogue trading," says Frédéric Boulier, the Paris-based head of anti-money-laundering and compliance at US security adviser Nice Actimize. "They will need to make sure everyone understands rogue trading could be considered a major regulatory issue, as opposed to the situation as it is right now where you leave it
