Regulation not key driver for ERM within Nordics

ERM is being driven from within firms in the Nordic countries, according to survey results

The move to enterprise risk management (ERM) in the Nordic countries is being driven more by company management than by regulators, according to survey results from the Swedish Risk Management Association (Swerma). This contrasts with the Nordics' counterparts elsewhere in Europe, which are implementing ERM systems because regulation such as Solvency II is forcing them to do so, says Torgny
