Oric and ORX in talks regarding possible merger

BAML Pairs strategy is designed around buying and selling two stocks to manage exposure or risk

The Operational Risk Consortium (Oric) and the Operational Riskdata Exchange Association (ORX) are in talks regarding a possible merger. The two associations have been in talks "for over a year", says a source close to the negotiations.

"It is possible Oric and ORX might merge, if both sets of members thought that was advantageous for the industry," says a senior industry source. "However, legal agreements are not being finalised at the moment."
