US foreclosure crisis highlights boundary risks


The US foreclosure crisis has brought home the fact many operational risk events are being missed as they are being classified as other risk types – such as credit risk in the case of foreclosures. These sorts of boundary risks are skewing operational risk data, according to regulators.
