
City operational risk exec salaries rising
LONDON – It is a good time to be an operational risk executive, as salaries are increasing alongside demand for employees with operational risk management experience. Demand in the UK is being driven mainly by insurance firms looking to bolster their Solvency II operational risk teams.
Solvency II is certainly helping to push up salaries but pay has also been bolstered by up to 20% across the board due to the implementation of the banking bonus tax introduced by UK Chancellor of the Exchequer
