Isda launches Equity MCA Protocol

Isda protocol focuses on operational efficiency and standardisation

NEW YORK – The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (Isda) is launching a new Equity MCA Protocol that aims to improve operational efficiency in the international equity derivatives markets. In the wake of the stress caused by market dislocation – a taboo phrase at Tuesday’s Isda London Regional Member Conference – the multilateral protocol focuses on allowing participants and counterparties to agree to incorporate, by reference, the terms of Master Confirmation Agreements.
