Joseph Kelliher, chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc), is coming to the end of his first term in office – a term many feel has been marked by decisiveness and action. Under his leadership, Ferc has actively promoted the development of much-needed energy infrastructure, supported competitive markets and strengthened the policing of possible market manipulation.
