Lehman Brothers beefs up structuring capability

Lehman Brothers has poached Giuseppe Bivona from Morgan Stanley to originate capital markets products and market structured solutions to Italian banks. He worked as head of the financial institutions group for Italian clients at Morgan Stanley.

In his new role, Bivona will report jointly to Philippe Dufournier, head of the structured solutions group for Europe, and Eamonn Price, co-head of European debt capital markets.

Bivona became a managing director at Morgan Stanley, where he worked for 11 years, at the end of 2002. His duties have included fund origination, equity-linked origination and strategic derivatives product coverage for Italian banks and insurance firms.
