Milliman appoints new UK practice leader

Actuarial consultants, Milliman, has appointed Gary Crofts as practice leader of the firm's UK life consulting practice where he will be responsible for annuity and life insurance transaction consulting.

Crofts succeeds Mike Arnold, who will continue to work for Milliman as a consultant. Crofts joined Milliman's UK practice in April this year from Bermuda-based XL Re where he was chief actuary and chief operating officer of life reinsurance.
