AOCI worsens across the board at US banks in Q1

JP Morgan, Wells Fargo and Citi hit hardest in trend reversal

During the first quarter, unrealised losses grew at 14 large and mid-sized US banks, a trend reversal from the previous three months.

On aggregate, losses recorded under accumulated other comprehensive income (AOCI) rose by $6.3 billion to $144.9 billion.
