Banks eye cost cuts ahead of RateStream Treasuries push

FX SpotStream’s move into rates seen as both fee-saver and potential boost to streaming execution

Dealers believe FX SpotStream’s entry into the US Treasury market will make a significant impact amid what they see as a continuing shift towards stream-based execution.

The bank consortium-owned foreign exchange spot venue is set to begin offering direct streaming of Treasuries later this year in the dealer-to-client market.
