
Vendors band together to build Mifid tools
40% of Directive requirements without software solution
LONDON - A group of 15 technology vendors has teamed up to identify and target areas of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid) that financial institutions will find especially costly or difficult to comply with.
JWG-IT’s Technical Special Interest Group (TechSIG) is using research with more than 50 financial institutions in 2007, with the ultimate aim of developing a software solution to address new business process requirements created by Mifid.
