European investors look at Asia credit repacks say dealers

Banks are seeing increased interest from European investors for repacks using China underlyings on the back of ECB's interest rate policy

With the introduction of negative interest rates by the European Central Bank in June and tighter credit spreads globally, dealers are noticing increased interest from European investors for Asian structured credit repack notes.

Market participants have previously noted a pick-up in the Asian repack market over the past 24 months from clients within Asia and now this is set to increase further on the back of demand from clients outside the region.
