
US wrap: Benchmarks in vogue as S&P 500 dominates issuance

The latest US issuance data derived from yesterday's SEC filings shows a back-to-basics approach as the US benchmark S&P 500 index features in all the index-tracking products.
Barclays has issued an accelerated growth product and a review product based on the S&P 500. The review product has a two-year term with the opportunity for early maturity in August 2012 (a few days before the full term) if the S&P 500 is eual to or higher than its strike level.
If the product kicks out it will pay 11%
