HGK goes alternative

New Jersey-based HGK Asset Management has formed a new Alternative Investment division that focuses on providing selected high-return alternative investment products.

HGK says that its Alternative Investment division is an umbrella term for investments outside the US public capital markets, and are aimed at investors seeking to meet specific investment goals, provide the returns desired, and reduce their overall portfolio risk. Its investment offerings  might be structured to include only labour-friendly, socially-responsible alternative investment funds, or they may be structured to focus on specific opportunity areas, such as emerging energy-related
