Arc unveils income plan offering 9% or 7.5%

Arc Capital & Income has launched its five-year Fixed Income Plan 7, which offers an annual income of 9% for the higher income option or 7.5% for the cautious option. Both the options are linked to the FTSE 100 index and offer the possibility of a monthly income of 0.73% or 0.61% for the higher and cautious income options respectively.

The higher income option offers improved terms, increasing from the previous 8.6%, although the cautious option remains at 7.5%. Furthermore, the plan is now based on one index, the FTSE 100, rather than two indexes as offered in the last version. Otherwise, the underlying structure and the barrier levels remain the same.

While income payments are fixed and are unaffected by index movements, capital repayment is dependent upon a 30% or 50% barrier for the respective plans. If the index has fallen
