PROFILE - Credit Suisse Private Bank on HNWs

Credit Suisse Private Bank is increasingly deploying structured products in its high-net-worth clients’ portfolios. In fact, the bank believes that its clients’ portfolios could one day be largely made up of derivatives-based investments, as Daniel Sheehan reports.

Arthur Vayloyan, Zurich-based head of investment services and products at Credit Suisse Private Bank, says the appeal of derivatives-based investments is simple to understand: after all these are controlled investment that reflect what investors want from a private bank – certainty and better than market performance for risk and return.
