Merrill Lynch debuts credit-linked note for Singapore

Merrill Lynch has launched the Jubilee Link Gain Notes for Singapore's retail investment market, allowing investors to participate in the credit markets in a principal protected and transparent manner. Jubilee Link Gain Notes have a high potential return, and are targeted at investors looking to diversify their asset class allocation into the credit markets from fixed deposits, endowment plans and other traditional investment products.

Jubilee Link Gain Notes are credit-linked to a reference portfolio of 135 investment-grade reference entities as rated by Moody’s Investor’s Services and Standard & Poor’s. These reference entities span the globe including Europe, Asia Pacific and North America and cover 19 industries such as telecommunications, utilities, publishing and financial institutions.
