HK SFC simplifies authorisation for certain Ucits III funds

News

Hong Kong's Securities & Futures Commission (SFC) will streamline measures for processing specialised undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (Ucits) III funds, such as funds of funds, guaranteed funds and index funds. Such funds domiciled in Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK no longer need to be approved on a case-by-case basis.

These measures do not apply to funds such as warrant funds, leveraged funds, futures-and-options funds or hedge funds, or to Ucits III funds
