EC outlines changes to Capital Requirements Directive

The changes to the CRD – which consists of the separate directives 2006/48/EC and 2006/49/EC – are designed to address issues faced by institutions with large exposures, hybrid capital, supervisory arrangements, waivers for co-operative banks organised in networks, and to make adjustments to technical provisions.
