Fitch spins off derivatives arm

Fitch Ratings has spun off its derivatives operations into a new subsidiary, Derivative Fitch. The new group will bring together Fitch's global collateralised debt obligation (CDO) and structured credit ratings groups, along with various other products focused on credit derivatives.
