First Korean issuer joins Hong Kong warrants market

Kisa anticipates warrant and autocallable hedging synergies

The offshore arm of South Korean warrants heavyweight Korea Investment & Securities Asia (Kisa) has become the first Korean house to issue derivatives warrants in Hong Kong, having recently been issued with a licence to issue the retail listed structured products by Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX). 

The securities were listed today (December 11), and included call warrants linked to HKEX and China Mobile. The firm is the second new entrant in the Hong Kong listed structured products market this year
