Die Einnahmen der Aktienderivathändler wurden in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2008 arg in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Die durch exzessive Verluste bei US-Hypotheken schlechter Bonität bedingte Kreditkrise griff seit Jahresbeginn auf die wichtigen Aktienmärkte über.
