Funds of funds spread allocations to hedge funds, and risk, but some argue that multi-strategy funds sit closer to the market, and are a better risk mitigation tool, as David Walker explains

While the flow of institutional money into hedge funds has been well documented, those dipping their toes in the alternative investment market waters may not realise the plethora of methods available to access absolute returns.
