Deutsche Bank to use Isaac Technology credit risk system

Deutsche will use Fair Isaac's technology for its ability to build and automate high-volume decision processes on an enterprise-wide basis. Deutsche has undertaken a pilot run of the programme, which, says Fair Isaac, will "enable a high degree of automation, improved risk management and preparation for compliance with the new Basel Accord requirements across all products and business segments".

Deutsche was able to implement capital reserve equations to determine capital reserve requirements, while using the pilot technology. "Utilizing Blaze Decision System in the pilot program, Deutsche Bank was able to achieve lower operating costs and reduced losses," said the company.

The bank plans to implement the solution throughout its European branches and credit service centres.
