Wei-Xing Zhou - East China University of Science and Technology

Wei-Xing Zhou is Professor of Econophysics, Professor of Applied Mathematics, and Professor of Management Science and Engineering. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai, China) in 2001 and did his post-doctoral research in Econophysics and Turbulence at UCLA supervised by Prof. Didier Sornette. He works in the Department of Finance and Department of Mathematics and is Director of the Research Center for Econophysics at the East China University of Science and Technology in Econophysics, complex networks and data science. He has authored over 150 papers, serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals, organized several international conferences on Econophysics and financial engineering, and gave invited talks at major international conferences.
