Stefan Trück - Macquarie University
Stefan Trück is a Professor of Finance and Co-Director of the Centre for Financial Risk at Macquarie University. Previously, he has held positions at Queensland University of Technology and University of Karlsruhe in Germany where he received a PhD in Business Engineering. Stefan's research interests focus on risk management and financial econometrics including the fields of energy markets, credit risk, systemic risk, emissions trading, climate change economics and international financial markets. He has published in several high impact journals including the Journal of Banking and Finance, Energy Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, Global Environmental Change, Journal of Futures Markets, European Journal of Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Journal of Credit Risk and Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics. He also has received various research grants, including two Discovery Grants from the Australian Research Council in the area of risk management and major grants from the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF).
