Jeff Stehm is a Director at Promontory Financial Group, LLC. Promontory is a leading strategy, risk management and regulatory compliance consulting firm focusing primarily on the financial services industry. Before joining the firm, Jeff spent more than three decades with the Federal Reserve Board. Most recently, he was the senior associate director responsible for policy, supervisory, and regulatory matters regarding systemically important financial market infrastructures, as well as intraday credit, collateral, and cybersecurity issues. In this capacity, he directed the Federal Reserve's implementation of Title VIII of the Dodd-Frank Act and its supervisory program for Reserve Bank and private-sector payment, clearing, and settlement systems. He also served as the Federal Reserve Board's representative on a number of interagency and international groups, including the G-20 Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems, the US Interagency Financial and Banking Information Infrastructure Committee, and the Financial Stability Oversight Council's financial market utility committee. For 10 years, he served as the secretary to the Federal Reserve's governor-level payments system policy advisory committee.
