Angelica Gianfreda

Angelica Gianfreda is assistant professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. She also acts as independent expert for the European Commission. Previously, she was Marie Curie Intra-European Fellow at the London Business School, Jean Monnet Fellow at the Florence School of Regulation at EUI, and lecturer at the University of York.
Angelica holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods for Market Analysis, and an MSc in Mathematical Finance. She studied Economics at the University of Salento, and attended several professional courses and summer schools at the London School of Economics, at CEMFI in Madrid and at the University of Munich, among others. She visited the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Her research interests are related to Energy Markets, covering topics such as price and volatility dynamics, market microstructure, transparency and market power.
