Relative analysis of systemic scores suggests sticky step-up in G-Sib surcharge
Crédit Agricole’s systemic profile grew at a faster clip than European Union rivals in 2024, potentially foreshadowing higher surcharges when global systemically important banks (G-Sibs) are reappraised this November.
The bank’s EU-level systemic score – as simulated by Risk Quantum by applying the G-Sib scoring methodology to a 29-bank sample from the European Banking Authority – reached 993
