Technology firms partner to launch new online security software

LONDON – As the risk of online crime grows, online technology firms LogicaCMG and Arcot have launched a new two-factor authentication system aimed at online transactions for businesses and consumers.

Released in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the software-based system is designed to provide more savings and flexibility than previous, hardware-based systems. Arcot developed the software, which is also built into Logica’s Assure product.
