EC to hold crunch talks on CCP recovery and resolution
European Commission said to be close to unveiling proposal on stricken clearing houses
The European Commission is to hold an expert meeting on recovery and resolution for central counterparties (CCPs) on June 27, Risk.net has learned.
Sources say it is the fourth expert meeting the EC will have held on the topic. It is also understood to be the final one before a legislative proposal is issued. However, the commission’s plans have been delayed previously and could be pushed back again.
During the meeting, sources say subject matter experts, including central bankers and prudential
