The chairman of the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency talks to Nick Kochan about what SOCA is doing to soothe the fears of the financial community

Come and join us, feel part of the show. That is the message Stephen Lander, chairman of the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), wants to give the financial community.

Banks had long felt bruised by SOCA's predecessor, the National Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS), which disdainfully snubbed requests for information about Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). Intense and very public resentment resulted, upsetting politicians and senior bankers alike.

SOCA was set up some six months ago
