“The commission took important and forceful steps this week to improve the fairness and effectiveness of the competitive natural gas market,” APGA president and chief executive Bert Kalisch wrote in a letter to Ferc chairman Pat Wood. “Through this successful investigation by the Office of Market Oversight and Investigations, it is again made clear that some market participants are willing to obtain and exploit non-public information to gain a competitive advantage in the energy market.”
