FSA sets out its reporting stall

LONDON -- The UK’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) published several consultation documents in September focusing on the issue of reporting requirements for financial firms. The regulator has also proposed phasing in electronic reporting over the next few years, and has asked the software industry to help this process along.

In mid-September, the regulator issued consultation paper 197, Reporting requirements for mortgage, insurance, and investment firms and supplementary consultation on audit
