Reille helped lead French dealer's ill-fated push into regional structured products market

Nicolas Reille, who left Natixis last month following a €260 million hit ($300 million) resulting largely from the sale of equity structured products in Asia, is set to join Barclays, according to two people familiar with the move.

Reille is expected to join the British bank’s derivatives sales and distribution team in Hong Kong, one of the people said. He may join in the coming months after completing a period of gardening leave, during which he is unable to join a competitor, the other person
