
EMEA chief to retire from Nomura
Sadeq Sayeed, the CEO of Nomura for Europe, Middle East and Africa, has announced he is to retire from the bank. He will remain in his role until a successor is appointed.
Sayeed was a key architect of Nomura’s acquisition of Lehman Brothers’ European and Middle East operations in 2008. In addition to his role as CEO, he was also vice-chairman of Nomura from September 2008.
