Barclays Global Investors hires 10 in research

Barclays Global Investors has hired 10 top-flight research staff over the summer in what amounts to the biggest build-up of buy-side research seen in the industry so far.

The additions include new heads of credit research in the US and Europe. Scott Richardson, who previously worked in the accounting and advisory practice of KPMG, becomes head of US credit research while Daniel Bergstresser joins as head of European credit research in London.
