DB merges debt and equity research teams

Deutsche Bank has gone one step beyond many of its competitors in the trend towards “dequity” research, by merging its debt and equity research teams. Guy Ashton, European regional head of the new unit, global company research (GCR), in London, says the move brings credit analysts “a greater depth of understanding of the corporate issuer: its management, its strategies and its opportunities for growth”.
