RBS Greenwich Capital poaches McGeehnan for its FX sales team

Royal Bank of Scotland Greenwich Capital has hired Jimmy McGeehnan to bolster its foreign exchange presence among key hedge fund and asset manager clients.

Based in Connecticut, McGeehnan joins as a senior vice-president in the North American Institutional Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales group, and will report to Craig Donaldson, head of the sales group. The hire marks another strategic move for RBS Greenwich Capital, which only brought in Donaldson in August 2005.

Prior to the move, McGeehnan was a senior vice-president in HSBC’s foreign exchange group, and before that spent four years at UBS.
