Singapore Exchange restructures executive

The Singapore Exchange has made a number of changes to its senior management structure.

The bourse has dissolved its products and services group, and given former head Linus Koh the role of chief financial officer. The exchange’s markets group will take over responsibility for existing products and market access, while new product development will be merged with business development. The consolidated development group will be provisionally headed by Seck Wai Kwong, who is currently head of strategy and business development. He will also be in charge of post-trade and retail initiatives, which includes the exchange’s goal of creating a post-trade processing hub.

Operations and technology divisions will also merge. Daniel Tan and Chew Hong Gian will continue in their roles running the respective departments, although the exchange is currently looking for someone to head the combined unit. The composition of the exchange’s executive committee will not change.
