SEC risk chief resigns

Fishkin will move to New York to work in risk management for AllianceBernstein, which managed $659 billion in assets as of September 30.

He joined the SEC in July 2004 as the first head of the newly created risk assessment group. He is due to leave early in the new year, the SEC said, but will remain in the interim to help identify a successor.
