New CIO for Tullett Prebon
Del Vecchio moves from Tullett Prebon North America in New York, where he was chief technology officer. He will report to Tullett Prebon's chief executive Lou Scotto.
Del Vecchio will run the firm's technology strategy and architecture, infrastructure support, trading and financial systems architecture, development, analytics, electronic trading and real estate planning, the company said.
Del Vecchio replaces former CIO Geoff Chapman, who left Tullett Prebon in June after resigning in late March. He told RiskNews that he planned to stay in the City, and was "engaged in several interesting conversations", but had no definite employment so far.
