HSBC adds exotics derivatives trader

HSBC has hired Guillermo Gimenez as a senior exotic foreign exchange derivatives trader in London. Starting in late November, he will report to Frederic Boillereau, global head of exotic options trading.

Martyn Brush, HSBC’s global head of foreign exchange derivatives, said: "His background, first as a structurer and then a trader, gives him an invaluable mix of skills which will complement our strategy for expansion in this business."

Gimenez joins HSBC from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was a director and senior trader for exotic options.
