Disclosure delayed

The UK's FSA is thinking of extending its current product disclosure regime to cover structured deposits. But the market is still in the dark thanks to delays to the regulator's consultation paper, caused by current negotiations concerning the European Union's Markets in Financial Instruments Directive

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the UK was due to publish a consultation paper on its current product disclosure regime last month. But the FSA says delays in negotiations over the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) means the paper will be delayed for some time.
