AI integration into operational risk management

  • Operational risk, AI and machine learning

About the course

GenAI represents a must-examine area for op risk professionals, in terms of understanding the risks it poses and exploring the opportunities it provides. This interactive course explores how GenAI can revolutionise op risk management, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Participants will delve into a variety of case studies, ranging from defining remediation actions for loss events to preparing content for risk committee reports. They will also analyse the wider roll-out of GenAI for op risk management stakeholders across the three lines of defence.

Sessions focus on the practical ways to integrate GenAI, including understanding relevant regulatory requirements and the dual role of op risk teams. The integration of different subtopics of op risk frameworks will be addressed, such as risk and control self-assessments and key risk indicators, with instructors providing tools for implementation and identification.

This course, led by two industry experts, will include live polls, case studies, group work and a Q&A
